The Witness

Witnessing means splitting yourself in two on a consciousness level, observing one part of yourself with another part. Here the girl is experiencing a sense of Grace, perhaps a perception of a higher masculine being or aspect of herself that she is able to integrate and receive. Her “daily self” is part of this deepening experience, a more intuitive understanding as exemplified by the womb-like background, the water, night sky and Moon (all yin or feminine symbols related to intuition). It is an awareness of the opposing aspects of our nature, the masculine being on a more inner or etheric level as we are dealing with a woman. (Jung’s Animus concept). A journey to wholeness!
