Being Struck.

The posture of the central figure is inspired by a statue I made years ago in wood and in yoga it portrays a strong backbend. Fore-ward-bends are oriented to the known; to what lies in front of us. We can see it and more easily grasp what is there. Back-bends are directed to what is behind us, to that which cannot be seen but, in some way, sensed. The Angel (this is my signature of my personal Angel), is communicating a “striking” message in relation to what lies at the back of her. In essence it conveys a needing to trust the unknown!
It is the actual forcefulness of the message that is part of the theme here.
