Dream-world: going within.

I did a few paintings recently and this one is a person (representing my soul-nature) reflecting inwards. This turning inward is something that art itself does in many ways and here it includes a sensing of a rich inner dream world in a more abstract way. It points to the unknown, unfamiliar and otherworldly quality and sensations we find there. It demands going beyond our usual sensory experiences. It relates and is operative in our feeling nature and includes day-dreaming as well as dreams that we experience during sleep.

It can be elusive and is a kind of interfacing with other-worldly facets of our nature. It is here captured more symbolically.
