Integration: the 4 Scorpio Roses

As this was created during November it was Scorpion season and during its creation, I went through a simplification process which felt transformative once I arrived at the final solution, yet disturbing at times.
It is far removed from the purity of the Jasper Stone roses (my 4rth work in 2020) and exudes an almost uncomfortable descend into a deeper sense of self, which is eventually accepted and included into the Psyche. It is like feeling and unearthing a dark fragment of the Soul and bringing it back to wholeness, a wholeness that is unique and not necessarily symmetrical.
It arises out of a “dark” unknown inner experience and space and (for me) the trick is to move with it, or through it. It represents a signature of how the Psyche can be enlarged and healed largely through accepting that what may initially appear or feel as “unacceptable”.
